Communication Advisor
Åse-Line Baltzersen is a communication advisor for the Norwegian National Advisory Unit for Personality Psychiatry. She advocates for better and equal treatment opportunities for people with personality disorders – a personal commitment after receiving specialized and life-saving treatment. She has a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Marked Communication from BI Norwegian Business School, where her finishing thesis was a campaign plan for early intervention for personality disorders.
Besides work, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Health Research at the University of Oslo. Her master’s thesis investigates health care professionals’ experiences in implementing Mentalization Based treatment for adolescents with borderline personality disorder.
